Sarah Argus and I are artistic collaborators; we work remotely. Sarah's holding strong in Brooklyn. I'm in Syracuse. We create images, turn by turn — like art chess. She makes a move and sends it to me. I make a move and send it back. We began this series early in the pandemic as a way to connect, and conjure — as a place to put our thinking, hope and fear. The pieces are a practice of detachment, trust, intuition and visual storytelling. We talk and write about our process. Art is a lifeline in so many ways.
